MEETING NOTICE

SUNDAY, January 13, 2008 at 1:00 PM

East Bay SPCA in Tri-Valley

4651 Gleason Drive, Dublin, CA 94568

The next BACKCSC general membership meeting will be on Sunday, January 13, at 1:00 pm at the East Bay SPCA in Tri-Valley Community Room. The program will follow at 2:00 p.m.

I am very excited  to announce that Penny Locke will be presenting  on:

Canine Communications: Building a Trusting Relationship with Your Dog.

Ms. Locke holds a Certificate of Advanced Canine Communication and is Certified by Jan Fennell, Amichien® Dog Listeners, Ltd. She is now a "Highly Recommended Dog Listener" which so far is the highest recommendation Jan gives to her Dog Listeners around the worldPenny is also a member of APDT (Association of  Pet Dog Trainers). According to Penny, the common language of dogs is ritualized through their behavior in four key areas.  Whether the dog is big or small, puppy, adult or senior, human owners and caretakers are the key to their dog’s behavior.  You will learn how to respond to undesirable behaviors as a leader without confrontation, gadgets or force.  This people training will help you build a life-long relationship with your best friend, based on trust and respect.  More information is available on her web site: www.allabout-canines.com.

I think this program will be useful to any Cavalier owner, but it will be especially interesting to those of us with more than one dog in our life.  Current (and Future!!!!) rescue volunteers may also find it very helpful!

WELL BEHAVED CAVALIERS ARE WELCOME AT THIS MEETING!
