The BACKCSC will
hold its next general meeting on Sunday, February 25, at Bishop Ranch
Veterinary Center & Urgent Care, 2000 Bishop Drive, San Ramon at 10 am.
Our presentation will follow the meeting and begin at 11:00 am. (Please
note times!)
We are very honored to have Dr. Kirsten Williams speak to us on
Acupuncture and Herbs for Healing. Dr. Williams graduated from the Veterinary
School at the University of California at Davis in 1992. She was on staff at
Crow Canyon Veterinary Clinic prior to its merger to become Bishop Ranch
Veterinary Center. In 1998 she became certified in veterinary acupuncture by
the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and is one of only two
veterinarians in the region who provide this care for dogs and cats. With
training in both conventional western medicine and Traditional Chinese
Medicine, Dr. Williams is able to integrate multiple treatment modalities for
her patients.

Take I-680S to Crow Canyon Road exit. Exit right and go
west on Crow Canyon Road to the 1st traffic light, which is San Ramon Valley
Blvd. Go left at San Ramon Valley Blvd. to the 2nd traffic light, which is
Norris Canyon Road. Go left on Norris Canyon Road to the 1st traffic light,
which is Bishop Drive. Go right on Bishop Drive. The entrance is on the right
in 0.1 miles.
Directions from Fremont, Sunol, Livermore, Pleasanton and
Dublin:
Take I-680N to Bollinger Canyon Road exit.
Exit right and go east on Bollinger Canyon Road to the 1st traffic light, which
is Sunset Drive. Go left at Sunset Drive to the 2nd traffic light, which is
Bishop Drive. Go left on Bishop Drive. The entrance is on the left in 0.9
miles.
