The Bay Area Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, Inc.
BACKCSC offers two types of Membership, both of which require a vote
of acceptance by a majority of the Board of Directors and General
Membership. The following membership requirements should assist club
members in evaluating appropriate membership for applicants who may
approach them for sponsorship.
Regular Membership is for those
who have been active for a number of years in pure bred dogs as
breeder, owner, exhibitor or judge and display a sincere, continuing
interest in the breed.
Requirements:

Must own a Cavalier
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to document involvement in pure bred
dogs for a minimum of 3 years OR been a BACKCSC associate member for
a minimum of 1 year
- Must attend 2 BACKCSC meetings in the past
year (sign-in required)
- Must have 2 completed sponsorship forms from 2
regular members in good standing with BACKCSC.
- Must exhibit a desire to be involved in the
activities of the club
Yearly Dues: $25.00
Individual
$30.00 Family
Associate Membership is for those
that may be new to Cavaliers and for those that may not yet own a
Cavalier, but have a serious interest in the breed. The Associate
Membership offers all the privileges of the Club with the exception
of holding office, voting rights, being counted in a quorum,
inclusion on BACKCSC Breeder Referral List and being eligible for
club awards.

- Attend 2 meetings in the past year (sign-in required)
Yearly Dues: $20.00 Individual/Family
The Club encourages all Members to be active in the sport and as such
encourages participation on all levels of club activity. BACKCSC
provides opportunities for those new (and not so new) to the breed to
gain more knowledge and experience.
